Set back from the main high street down on the corner of Wesley Walk and Mill Walk, No.14 is the creative outlet of Ryan Humphrey. With high ceilings, beautiful arched windows and tasteful interiors, we offer a comfortable setting in which to enjoy classic hospitality.
Led by Head Chef Peter Southey, our chefs make every dish from scratch, right down to our hash browns and cakes. We are always evolving and developing the menu so there is something new to try on every visit. The cake counter features homemade doughnuts, pastries and a large selection of gluten free, dairy free and vegan cakes. We are an entirely nut free operation. Dishes include a selection of classic cafe fayre, as well as breakfasts, brunch dishes and lunches, served alongside coffee by Fire and Flow Roastery, beers by Little Ox Brew Co, as well as wines, soft drinks and gins. Where possible, we source our produce from the surrounding County, reducing our food miles, as well as supporting other small local producers.
With a background in 5 star hospitality Ryan, alongside manager Cat Roberts and supervisor Maisie Cooke, has created a welcoming environment where the team are focused on customer care. When you join us at No.14, you are guests in our house, make yourselves at home and we will take care of the rest.
As we develop our restaurant, we aim to focus on minimising our environmental impact, without sacrificing the quality of the end product. We already use renewable energy to power our operation as well as recycling with Grundon waste management who have a proven track record in their recycling systems. Our goal is to be a Net Zero operation by 2027.
